We are a self-catering facility which means that you provide your own meals. There are grocery stores within 20 km which can deliver your groceries directly to the lodge for your convenience.

The lodge is well-stocked with all the basics needed for your dining requirements. The following supplies are Included in your self-catering accommodation:
- Coffee , selection of teas and sugar.
- Basic spices, salt and pepper, oil (sunflower and olive) and balsamic vinegar.
- Ice machine.
- Napkins, kitchen paper, tinfoil, plastic wrap and storage containers.
- Cooler boxes and picnic baskets for picnics and use on game drives.
- Wood, charcoal, firelighters and matches.
- Cleaning supplies.
- Swimming towels.
FACILITIES
On-site staff
Upon arrival you will be greeted by the Fifty-Five Mjejane team.
Our staff will service the units and lodge and are available to help with the setting of tables and lighting of fires as needed.
Game viewing
There are two complimentary game drives per day in the early morning and late afternoon.
Each game drive can accommodate ten guests. Pack your own snacks and drinks in the picnic baskets and cooler boxes supplied.
Security
Access to Mjejane is strictly monitored and limited.
A security team as well as a professional anti-poaching unit operates in our area. Our staff live on the premises and are available at any time to assist in the event of an emergency.

The architecture of our lodge draws inspiration from the flora and fauna of the area as well as its historically Zulu architecture – staying true to the history of the land. The lodge pays homage to the original settlers of the land and their Zulu culture, without compromising on luxury.
